Fellowship Ministry

The Fellowship Ministry provided numerous social opportunities for Prince of Peace in this last year.  We continued our five major events and experimented with trying to develop a number of smaller affairs in hopes of providing opportunities to incorporate the many different interests of our church members.

The major events began with a continuation of the Progressive Dinner which is held in February each year.  Once signed up, you will be assigned to a home of someone in the congregation where there will be approximately eight other guests for each home.  After dinner, everyone comes to the Church for entertainment.  It is a great way to spend quality time with other members of the congregation. 

The next major event was our Easter Breakfast.  Each year we host a breakfast for all asking for a $5.00 per person donation.  Come hungry - breakfast is great!

The third major event is the Annual Prince of Peace Golf Classic Tournament.  Each year, we have about 40 participants and countless volunteers and sponsors who all contribute to make this a wonderful day of fellowship and fund raising.  These funds are used for capital improvements for the church.  Grab your clubs and join us!!

The annual church picnic is always a hit with everyone.  Put on some outdoor clothes and come experience a wonderful service outdoors followed by lunch and fellowship. 

The fifth major event is the ever popular Pig Roast/Barbecue.  We have the BBQ catered with members of the congregation bringing side dishes.  This is a great time to bring the family, friends and neighbors to experience the warmth and welcoming arms of the Prince of Peace membership.
