About the Council: The Prince of Peace Church Council is made up of POP members that are elected by the congregation at the annual Meeting in January. Each year the elected council members vote to select officers; in addition, council members determine which members will serve as liaisons to the various ministries. A nominating committee identifies candidates to replace members coming off the council; the length of council service terms is specified at the time the member is selected as a candidate for election by the congregation. Most terms are for 3 years. Pr. Tom Kenny [Pastor] serves as ex officio members.
