 Christian Education General Information:

Here at POP, Christian Education provides classes for all ages from toddlers through adults.

• Sunday School for children (PreK - 5h grade) meets on the lower level of the main building.  For information on children's Sunday School contact Katrina Sayers.  Children's Church is offered during the late service for children - Pre-K to 5th grade.

• Sunday School for youth (6th to 12th grade) is held in the Harmony House, the "home" for our youth at Prince of Peace.  Sunday School for 6th to 8th graders is our Confirmation Class and is under the teaching leadership of Vanessa Goggans and Chris Voss using the Faith Inkubators curriculum.  Regular parent-student sessions are facilitated by Chris and Vanessa with the assistance of Pr. Tom Kenny.

• The Senior High class (9th to 12th grade), led by veteran Youth Group Leader Paul Via and John Cherry, addresses the issues of the day through lively discussion and tapping the resources of our Christian faith, and is an anticipated and important "coming together" time for our young people in Senior High.

• Our offerings for adults are also strong.  Sunday morning opportunities are offered concurrent with each of the worship services and Bible study is offered on Wednesday evenings as well.  (Be sure to check with the Church office for the current schedule.)  For information on adult education, contact Katrina Sayers or Pr. Prince of Peace Summery Day Camp 2011Information -

P.O.P day camp program includes daily chapel, fitness, friendship-building activities, and creative electives such as music, dance, drama, sports, gardening, and much more.

We accept registration for daily and weekly campers, so families can pick their days for a custom camp experience.

  Camp is offered to the following children:

·         Campers: 2 yrs. - 9 yrs.

·         Y.C.I.T: 10 yrs. - 12 yrs. **

·         Junior Counselors: 13 yrs. - 15 yrs.

·         Camp Counselors: 16 yrs. - 18 yrs.

$25.00 per week for Y.C.I.T’s **

  Camp Dates:  Camp is offered  9:30a-1:30p Monday through Thursday on  the following dates:

·         Session 1: June 20  - June 23     Around the World -- Experience different Cultures & Tradition

·         Session 2: June 27 - June 30      Dr. Seuss week

·         Session 3: July 18 - July 21         OOPY GOOPY  Week

·         Session 4: July 25 - July 28         Sports Week

Please register by June 7th for Session 1 & 2 and July 5th for Session 3 & 4

NO LATE     REGISTRATIONS

           Lunch and Snack is provided.

       Daily Lunch Menu—

·         Monday— Pizza, Banana, and Juice

·         Tuesday—Chicken Nuggets, Fruit cup, chips, and Juice.

·         Wednesday—Pasta with w/meat sauce, Bread sticks, Mandarin oranges, and Juice.

• Thursday— Hot dogs on a bun, chips, apple slices,  and Juice

      Daily Snacks;

·         Water is offered with snack and throughout the day. Snacks are subject to change.

·         Monday - Gold Fish 

·         Tuesday -  Pretzels

·         Wednesday - Animal Crackers

·         Thursday - Graham Crackers

       Payment Fees:

·         $95.00 per session (week)/ per child

·         $30.00 per day/per child

      Fees in there entirety are due at the time of registration.

      A $10.00 late fee will be automatically assessed for payment received after the due date.
